The Bureau of Program Support and Information provides planning, analytical, educational, and other support needs to division programs and its personnel. It is responsible for strategic planning; coordination of staff training and projects; drafting and revision of the division’s major plans and reports; and developing division policies and procedures.  The Bureau also provides support to the programs through its FileMaker software solution creation and support activities.

What are the major objectives the Section wants to achieve?

To review, improve, implement, and manage the administrative operation of DEH. Develop written operating procedures as well as directives of the Division activities. Prepare, evaluate, and update DEH Strategic Plan. Prepare DEH Annual Report and perform analyses on data collected by the programs in order to improve services.

Processing Center Section 

The Division of Environmental Health Processing Center Section consists of three Customer Service Representatives, and one Customer Service Representative Supervisor. The Section accepts, reviews, and processes applications for the issuance of Health Certificates, Controlled Substances Registrations, Sanitary Permits, and Disinterment/Reinterment documents through the implementation of Title 10 GCA, Chapters 21-22, and 30, and Title 9 GCA, Chapter 67, and its rules and regulations.

Prescription Drug Monitoring Program

The Guam Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (GPDMP) is the prescription monitoring program for the Territory of Guam. Prescription monitoring programs (PMPs) use a central computerized database to collect, monitor, and analyze data on dispensed Schedule II-V controlled substances.  The Guam PDMP database website is: www.gupdmp.com.
