Description

The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation is a government of Guam agency whose primary goal is to enable eligible individuals with disabilities, especially individuals with significant disabilities to achieve employment and community independence through the provision of quality vocational rehabilitation services. Clients work with DVR counselors to ensure that they're doing everything needed to be done to reach their employment goal. All information discussed between individuals and clients are confidential. When a client is in need of services from DVR, he or she must provide details to a counselor about how the service that he or she is requesting for can be beneficial to achieving employment goals. The counselor then helps their client obtain the services that they need to ultimately reach their goals

Note: Data for this listing was compiled from online sources by UOG social work students enrolled in SW110 Introduction to Community Services on Guam classes (Sections 1 and 2) in the spring semester of 2017.
