The Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (GCASAFV) provides education, outreach, and training regarding sexual assault and family violence through working with community organizations and strengthening services to address and prevent these issues. The Guam Community Resource Directory serves as GCASAFV’s listing of faith-based organizations, non-profit service providers, and other government and private agencies in our island community. Here you can find a brief description of the agency and contact information for those agencies that make up a network of services for a better Guam.

The Pacific Region's Community Resource Directory is not just a phonebook of social services that are available to our Pacific Region communities. After being diagnosed with cancer, Edward M. Calvo longed to return to Guam to be in the company of the rest of his family and friends. This disease robbed him of this opportunity. During his battle, he bore pain so excruciating that doctors marveled at how he could suffer silently for so long. His unwavering faith, the comfort of family members, and competent and compassionate care providers in adequate care facilities helped him through his most difficult days.

During treatment, cancers patients deserve to be surrounded by frineds and family with the comforts our beautiful island of Guam - our home. The Edward M Calvo Cancer Foundation will strive to provide this opportunity.

The Foundation's mission is to provide financial grants to those battling cancer in Guam. Living with ancer can take a physical, financial, and wmotional toll on an individual and we aim to help alleviate some fo these burdens.

How Can The Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation Help?

The Edward M. Calvo Cancer Foundation provides an annual grant of $500.00 to anyone in our Guam community receiving treatment for cancer. These grants may be used for medical supplies, medical expenses, travel expenses, medication or treatment.

To apply for a grant, please complete the Patient Services Application Form and return the application, along with a copy of a photo identification and physician's diagnosis to the EMCCF Office located at 138 Martyr Street in Hagatna. You may also fax the application and documents to our office at 472.6854. If you are unable to access the Application Form from our website, you may pick up a form at our office in Hagatna.

Products

 “Guam is Good” wristbands are available at the Two Lovers' Point gift shop, DNA and DNA Evolution (both located in the Plaza shopping center in Tumon). Wristbands may be purchased online soon.
