The Guam Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Family Violence (GCASAFV) provides education, outreach, and training regarding sexual assault and family violence through working with community organizations and strengthening services to address and prevent these issues. The Guam Community Resource Directory serves as GCASAFV’s listing of faith-based organizations, non-profit service providers, and other government and private agencies in our island community. Here you can find a brief description of the agency and contact information for those agencies that make up a network of services for a better Guam.

Description:

Bureau of Health Care Financing Administration administer local and federal health care programs to assist low income individuals and families who are uninsured or have adequate insurance coverage and ensuring that the quality of health care is available and accessible for both on-island and off-island.

Services Offered:
 
·      The Program Management Section is responsible for the financial and program management support; development, monitoring & evaluation of the program state plan, policies and procedures, operations, manuals, and rules and regulations.
 
·      The Operations Section (Benefits Coordination/Claims Processing) oversees the utilization control and claims processing unit, off-island referral coordination, and the benefit support unit.
 
·      The Quality Management Section is responsible for maintaining and developing the quality management of the Operation & Program Management Section and benefit coordination for prior authorization and medicaid fraud and control unit.
 
·      The Prior Authorization Section is responsible for the issuance of Prior Authorization of the medical services.
 
·      The Claims Intake Section is responsible for the intake of claims from participating providers.
