The Crime Victims' Response Unit at the Office of the Attorney General of Guam offers a variety of services. We provide direct services to victims and their families as they navigate the criminal justice system and we ensure they receive support every step of the way. Services include case updates and information, court accompaniment and transportation, emotional support, assistance with child care for case related meetings/hearings, aiding in the preparation of victim impact statements, collecting paperwork for restitution, and connecting victims with resources for the criminal injuries compensation commission.

Case updates and information, in person court accompaniment and emotional support, support services such as assistance with virtual attendance of court hearings, transportation, and assistance with child care for meetings, interviews, and hearings pertaining to victimization, assessment & referral to available services, assistance with preparing, and submitting victim impact statements, claiming restitution, and applying for the victim criminal injuries compensation program, educating & assisting victims to navigate and use the Victim Information Notification Everyday (VINE) an automated notification system that provides additional option to receive notifications of court developments and prisoner movements.
