About us

The Adult Day Care Program provides quality services as an alternative to institutional care, in an environment where each participant's quality of life is enhanced by focusing on their uniqueness.

The program provides the family caregiver time off from caregiving tasks.  The Adult Day Care Program is an out-of-home respite type program for elderly who are unable to function at home without supportive services and who do not need 24-hour care. These are persons who would normally be home bound and have no one at home during the day to look after them.

Who we serve
The Adult Day Care program includes management of dementia facilities in Dededo and Inarajan.

The three Adult Day Care centers provide a respite-type program for older adults who are unable to function at home without support services and do not need 24-hour care.

The In-Home Services program is able to provide services to a minimum of 400 frail, homebound or otherwise isolated individuals age 60 and older, who are at risk of institutionalization due to a limited ability to function independently.

The program is available for elderly, age 60 years and older, who suffer health impairments such as sensory loss, loss of mobility (caused by strokes, amputation, diseases such as arthritis, Parkinson’s, poor circulation, injuries and blindness), incontinence, obesity and diabetes.

How to participate
An Intake, Profile and Referral form and assessment must be initiated by Case Management Services to determine eligibility prior to an individual being admitted into the program.

Services provided
The Adult Day Care Program provides quality care for up to ten (10) hours, Monday through Friday, with
activities that are planned to fit individual capabilities.

Planned activities are designed to be social, educational, recreational, and therapeutic.

Lunch and snacks are provided daily.

The activities are determined by the participants needs, abilities, and interests, and are performed in a professional, courteous, safe and caring manner.
