Client Services is the customer service department of Catholic Social Service for the general public and for clients who meet the requirements for assistance under Client Assistance Programs, which are supported through community donations.

Services Offered: CSS Thrift Store: provides clothing and household items (when available) at a minimal cost. Fire victims and households in emergency need are given clothing and other essential items (when available) without cost.

Emergency Food Assistance: provides food to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. Hygiene products are provided as well, when available. Documentations required include Valid ID, Mayor’s Verification of Residency of Homelessness Verification, and Income Statement (check stub, SNAP certification).

Father David I.A. Quitugua Foundation: provides financial assistance to help with living expenses when a patient must travel off-island for emergency medical care, if the medical service is not available on island. Documentations required include Valid ID, Doctor’s Diagnosis and Medical Referral, and Airline Travel Itinerary for the medical care.

Fingerprinting Service: anyone requiring fingerprinting can avail of this service.There is a $20.00 fee for 2 fingerprinting cards.

Volunteer Program: Volunteers may be utilized in all programs and activities of the organization. Volunteers are not utilized to displace any paid employees for their positions. Volunteering can include the following:
 
  • Sponsor a drive for food items, clothing, household items, personal care items
  • Volunteer in the Food Pantry, Thrift Store, or any CSS programs
  • Donate your service of or product
  • Sponsor a meal at our homeless shelter
  • Entertain or interact with our elderly clients
  • Sponsor an activity day for our clients (children, elderly, individuals with disabilities)
  • Make monetary or in-kind donation
