The general objectives of the organization are to provide information to direct and indirect service providers in the field of domestic and sexual violence, and to provide information, education and advocacy to the general public concerning the issues of domestic and sexual violence. In addition NCEDSV, formerly NNADV, generates and disburses funds to direct service programs. Our services are focused on the organizational needs of the community-based domestic violence programs that provide direct services to victims with a secondary focus on others. Services we provide include training and technical assistance for domestic violence professionals and allied professionals, evaluation and assessment, research and public education, and networking and collaboration with other statewide agencies. Funding comes from federal, state and private grant sources, as well as private donations and program generated income.
